The Soviet Union which is popularly known as USSR was an integration of many soviet republics. It comprised 15 soviet states. This was formed on the year 1922 after the Russian civil war.

As the name infers, it is a classic example of socialist rule and the whole world was amazed by the system and principles of the country. Lenin and Stalin were the people responsible for such an excellent network of socialism. He insisted economical growth and introduced 5 year plans on the year 1928. In the year 1933 a diplomatic relationship was established with US. Due to this the Soviet shared its supporting hands to the US and this partnership was prolonged till 1945. This country played an important role in the Second World War. In fact the historical event ‘Battle of Stalingrad’ was a masterpiece example for this statement.

The scenario changed quite drastically after 1945. The USSR developed as a leading super power in the world. It dominated the show in important events such as world economy, peace treaties, and military forces and even in sports. In short it was slowly rising to the elevation leveling US growths. This created a ‘Cold War’ situation between USA and USSR.

During the late 1980’s the economy of the USSR had a worst hit which lead to revolution in the states of USSR. This issue and few other abnormalities combined together to create a hazardous reaction. Due to this the USSR was dissolved in the year 1991.

Boston Tea Party (BTP) is an important milestone event in the era of American Revolution. During the early days of America, Britain was controlling and patrolling America.

The East India Company imports the tea into Britain by paying 25% duty and sells it wholesale in auction. This tea is again sent to American colonists. Due to this heavy duty of 25%, the tea sales of Britain have come down as it could not compete with Dutch tea companies. This is because Dutch government does not recieve any tax on Tea. In order to handle this issue, the British Parliament passed an Act during the year 1773 which helped East India Company to import tea into India and thereby Britain can directly export tea to its colonists. This Act was known as ‘Tea Act’. To compromise the 25% duty, the law also insisted the American colonists to pay the same when the tea is imported to them.

Due to this American colonists were agitated and started protesting against this act. The protestors were successful in preventing the import of Tea into their country and the ship consignments were sent back to England. On 16th December 1773, a ship with Tea consignments was placed in the Boston harbor. Even after insisting to send back the consignment, the ship was unmoved as the officials were very stubborn. A group of protestors boarded the ship and perished the tea consignments by throwing them into the sea.

This was the first remarkable feel of Agitation shown by American colonists.

West Indies is an island country situated in the American continent southeast of Mexico. This is popularly known as Caribbean because it is located in the Caribbean plate. It is a combo of more than 7000 islands and forms the island arcs. Cricket is an important and popular sport for them.

The name West Indies is derived from the phrase “West Indian”. This is because in 1492, when Columbus reached there, he mistook that he has reached India. The history also states that tribes from India have flown and settled down in West Indies during early 19th century.

Like most other countries in the world, West Indies was also held with colonialism. Initially it was Spaniards who were controlling the Caribbean. But later Britain was one main country which had a good hold of this area. Jamaica and Trinidad were brought into the wings of Britain on 1655 and 1802 respectively. After all struggles and agony, West Indies got independence on 6th August 1962.
